This young single malt comes from an undisclosed distillery in the Speyside. As the name already suggests, it should be a really heavy sherry bomb.

Nose

Sweet and sticky. The sherry is there right off the bat. Red berry compote with vanilla custard and a bit of cinnamon. The alcohol is nicely integrated and isn’t noticeable at all. A whiff of firecracker smoke in the back.

Taste

Very strong. Creamy and sweet with a lot of fruits, most noticeable dark cherries. The sherry is very dominant now.

Finish

Surprisingly long. Very warming with a honeyed sweetness. Ends with a bit of coffee chocolate.

Overall

Delivers exactly what its name promises: a strong, straightforward and uncompromising sherry bomb.
