The company Ian MacLeod was founded in 1933 by Leonard J. Russel and is nowadays the 10th largest Scotch Whisky company, according to the company’s statements. Their portfolio includes brands like Chieftain’s, Dun Bheagan, As We Get It, The Six Isles, Smokehead, King Robert II, Langs, and many more. Furthermore, the company has after the acquisition of Glengoyne (2003) and Tamdhu (2011) its own two malt whisky distilleries. Apart from whisky, Ian MacLeod bottles also gin, vodka and rum in their bottling plant at Broxburn (19km west of Edinburgh).
