April Preview

Hello all you dear readers out there in readerland! How is it going for you lately?

March is already in the books so it is time to give you a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes in April. But first let me give you a short summary of what happened in March here on dramlicious.com.

Alright, in March I covered a pretty wide variety of whiskies, like me tasting whisky from both Finland (Teerenpeli) and Texas (Balcones), two areas not yet known for their whisky production but I am sure that will change in the future. I also presented to you some vertical tastings like the one I did for Bushmills on St. Patricks Day (Tasty Tasting Episodes 1-4) and the “old” 18 Year Old vs the “new” 18 Year Old from Glenfiddich (Tasty Tastings Episode 9 and 10). I also blogged about some very good, some good and some not so good limited bottlings which came out more or less recently.

So let’s see what I have in store for you in April. But before we get started, one important note: I will not blog between 3rd until 6th April due to Eastern Holidays.

American Monday

Three new episodes of ‘American Monday’ will come out in April covering three different expressions from Four Roses in Kentucky.

Worldwide Wednesday

Whisky from the Far East (especially from Japan) is getting more popular by the second. The hottest discussed Japanese distillery is right now, without a doubt, Yamazaki. I had the chance to get my hands on five different bottlings from them, which was not an easy task given all the current price increases and stock shortages for Yamazaki whisky. Earlier today I already reviewed the first one, Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013.

Tasty Tastings & Peaty Friday

I do not want to give away too much at the moment (mainly because some episodes are still in the planning phase), but some of the most recent releases will make their appearance here on dramlicious.com.

I guess this has to do the job for now but I hope you are looking forward to all the new episodes in April as much as I do!

There are more news to come in the next days so keep an eye on my social media channels for more details. You can find me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/dramlicious and on Twitter @dramlicious

Until then, all the best!

Chris
