May Preview

Hello all you dear readers out there in readerland! How has April treated you?

April was quite a busy month here at dramlicious.com with 24 new episodes despite the fact that I took two days off from blogging due to Eastern holidays (I did some behind the scenes stuff though). Not only did I review the whole core range from Four Roses, but I also presented to you five different expressions from Yamazaki. Speaking of which, there are still a lot of Suntory whiskies out there left to be reviewed, namely from their other distillery Hakushu as well as their blend line Hibiki. But also scotch whisky did not go short this month as I reviewed quite a few bottlings from GlenDronach, BenRiach, Laphroaig and Arran, just to name a few. I had also my very first expression from Benrinnes, bottled by Wemyss Malt.

However in May we will shift into an even higher gear, which means even more verticals tastings, more new releases, more independent bottlings and all the other good stuff.

So here are a few things you can look forward to in May:

American Monday

Four new episodes of ‘American Monday’ will come out in May covering four different expressions from the Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky.

Worldwide Wednesday

Taiwanese whisky distiller Kavalan is making a buzz lately in the whisky world, so I guess it is only appropriate to take a closer look. My plan is to review their whole core range in May and June.

Tasty Tastings & Peaty Friday

I do not want to give away too much at the moment (mainly because some episodes are still in the planning phase) but I fully intend to do more vertical tastings, some of them involving independent bottlers, as well as reviews of some of the more recent releases.

Those of you who are following me also on Facebook or Twitter have maybe already seen that I treated myself with a new tasting glass today:

I am not entirely sure yet if I will write a detailed review about it. Would you guys and gals out there be interested in such a review? Maybe even in a comparison of different tasting glasses? If so, please drop me a comment below.

One last thing: If you enjoy reading this little blog of mine (and chances are not bad that you do ff you have read this far) please make sure to give my Facebook page a like and/or to follow me on twitter. I deeply appreciate any support.

Alright, that’s all for now but stay tuned as there will be two new episodes of “Peaty Friday” coming out tomorrow.

Until then, all the best!

Chris
